No man can conceive the battle weapon of the Almighty God. There were many battles that the Lord won for Israel; however, there were no two different battles that God uses the same weapon to win.

God can use host of heaven; He can use thunder; He can use hail; he can use cloud; He can use noise; and so on. Likewise, the battle weapon he gave to Joshua is different from the weapon He gave to Samson; and the weapon of Samson is different from that of David; and so on. In like manner, our God does not need multitude to win a battle; Gideon defeated 120,000 soldiers with only 300 men.

One may wonder or irrational as to how this can be possible; one simple answer to this is that He is God, not a man; He is not limited in any way by what He can do. By His spoken word, He made the universe to be what it is; you need to lean on Him for your victory and success.

For most people, the weapon to win our battle is always with us, but because of our self-centeredness, wanting to rely on what we see and what people say; we want to fight our battle independent of God; therefore, these weapons become invisible to us. What do you think about the rod of Moses, the spear of Joshua, Samson and the jaw of an Ass; the sling shot of David, praise worship of Jehoshaphat, and among many weapons that are peculiar to each person. All these weapons are at our own disposal to win our battles if they are visible to us. What kind of battle are we talking about here?

The life journey of every man is a battle.

In life, we all struggle to accomplish a goal, mission, undertakings or whatever we set in our heart to bring to pass; whatever it is, it requires that we exerts our own effort. We have a responsibility that we have to exercise for the success of whatever. When God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Aden, they are to tender it; that is their responsibility; that is their effort. No greatness comes easy; we need to work hard and never allow our hands to draw back.

The path of every man in life’s journey is not the same. A has its own peculiar path, and it is different form B which has its own peculiar path. Most of the time, the way we approach or pursue things in life are not always right. The major problem we have is following another man’s path to accomplish our goal.

Basic understanding of our set assignment (the know-how) is necessary, but our weapon to accomplish is not dependent on the weapon that another man uses. Your own method or strategy does not have to be a borrowed idea; you need to work above any existing idea or take a different approach as the spirit lead you.

Every human being is endowed with his/her own weapon to have success; in a way success is a battle and not always easy to win. But if one has an insight of that endowment, he/she is bound to be successful if not slothful about it.

My questions are these

  • Do you know your own weapon of war (to succeed)?
  • If you know it, are you using it?
  • If you don’t know it, do you know how to know it?

What baffles me most is that many people know it, yet, they covet other people. Every man/woman is endowed uniquely; we don’t have to jump into what we are not good at. You are better off when you operate in your own divine endowment.

The Bible states,

“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee” (Exo. 31:1-6);

God has planted in every man His is spirit to work in different works of life.Every man is uniquely blessed with what will benefit and make them have a fulfilled life. If you don’t know it, you have to pray for divine revelation.   The Bible states

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways” (Jas. 1:5-8).
