In my introductory statement for this web site, I made mentioned of the fact that the world needs the word of God again; because of the deplorable situation the world entangled itself today. The world is wallowing in sin; and the love for God and for others has waxed cold. There is the need for spiritual revival by Christians all over the world in order to avoid any looming wrath of God on human being.

Why do we need the word of God? Through the word spoken by the Lord God, the foundation of the world was established. The word lives with us today, it is the foundation upon which Christians build a good relationship with God; however, most Christian organizations have shifted from that foundation to manmade ordinances. If the word of God is rekindled again in our lives it will bring us back upon the foundation from which we have shifted.

The Bible says,

“For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ… for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is”. (1Cor. 3:9-13)

This task is for the Christians; because the misery of the kingdom of God was revealed to us by our Lord Jesus Christ through His word which He left for us. He established the church before He dropped the earthly body, and He said the gate of hell shall not prevail against it. We Christians are the church; therefore, we need to come together again so that the spirit of oneness which cannot be divided will unite us together for power.

The Bible says,

“But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” (1Tim. 3:15)

As I said earlier, to get the world back on a strong foundation is a joint task for all Christians. This will only be achievable if we allow the spirit of truth to reign among us. As the church of the living God, we need to spread the gospel, the same as the truth, also, which is the word to the world; not only spread, also for the world to see us behaving as such.

When the world sees us standing on the truth of the word of God without compromising it with the norms of the day, and they see the glory of God glowing in our lives as a protective covering over us; the world will change, or to say, many souls would be saved.

What the word of God does is this,

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works”. (2Tim. 3:16-17)

No wonder, the book of Psalm states among many advantages of the word of God.

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Ps. 119:11). Again, the scripture says, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them” (Ps.119:165).

The word of God is the real foundation upon which the world needs to stand to regain the original plan of God for man.
